What to Expect from Jennifer as your SRES®
Jennifer chose to become an SRES® do to the fact, so she enjoys interacting with seniors. Jennifer's decision to become an SRES® is rooted in a desire to help others. It means that Jennifer has respect for older individuals; can listen deeply and ask the right questions; knows how to communicate the old-fashioned way, with a handshake and a visit. Be prepared to sit and chat awhile. Jennifer will want to take time her time to get to know you and your family's situation, as you'll want to learn more about her.
Jennifer, as an SRES®, understands that this can be a stressful time for a family. It's hard to deal with leaving home after spending many years in it. Perhaps the parent would prefer to go on living there. Jennifer wants to understand the challenges you all face in this significant decision. By doing so, she can present all available options, so that the outcome is one that will suit the family's needs.
At times, the amount of information coming your way may seem overwhelming. As an SRES, Jennifer is there to help by tailoring meetings to a senior's needs. Don't be afraid to ask as many questions as you'd like until you feel comfortable with the steps to the sales process and other potentially-complicated details. Jennifer may suggest taking breaks so you can absorb the information, and may want to break up the pre-listing process over several visits to your home.
Growing up in Maine has given me a contagious enthusiasm for sharing knowledge about everything Maine has to offer, from hiking in the mountains to boating on the coasts and lakes, to live entertainment in Portland. Portland’s urban center is dynamic with numerous acclaimed restaurants, museums, and live music venues, and there is always something happening on the peninsula. Currently, sharing my time between Scarborough and Portland allows me to have an intimate and in-depth knowledge of the Greater Portland area, as well as current market trends.
After a 25-year successful career in healthcare, I’m excited to be in the real estate profession. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my three outstanding children, my handsome partner, Ben, attending community networking events, traveling, triathlons, tennis, biking, paddleboarding, kayaking, skiing, hiking, attending live music events, theatre, hospice volunteering and being surrounded by family and friends.
