Wow!  What a week!  Here's some things that caught our interest.....

  • Rob's Music Bullet- Grammy's this Sunday....here's the full list!

  • The 2018 Portland Museum of Art Biennial opens today - and on Friday nights, it's free (instead of $15)! It's a blast and the best way to keep up with contemporary art in Maine. For more information

  • EAT!  from Shannon: "I went to Solo Italiano last night on commercial street. They have a fantastic menu and an extremely friendly wait staff... on Wednesday’s between 4-6 they have $1 meatballs that melt in your mouth!"
  • Guest Bullet:  our friend Erica Archer of Wine Wise Events adds a WINE pick for the show.... "There's so many wines worth reaching for when it comes to sitting down and watching one of the most celebrated awards in the music industry, The Grammys. For me, if I think about a 'pairing' I think about something that is going to compliment the style and quality of what it is accompanying. The Grammys award quality and originality in an artists’ style, ability to push boundaries of what has been done before, connect, and inspire emotion and thought. That's what the 2014 Camel Valley Vineyards, Sparkling Brut Rosé does for me (and for everyone that I have served it to). It is a high-quality sparkler—a category of wine that we reach for on celebratory occasions.  It's incredible and pronounced in flavor of ripe red fruits, with ample minerality, creamy persistent bubbles with freshness and longevity on the palate. And it's PINK! It comes from the south of England, a region of the world that is pushing the boundaries of wine-making possibilities. Whichever wine you choose to celebrate and support your favorite artists with don't forget to celebrate your accomplishments as well. Cheers to all who work hard and strive for excellence. "
